Hi, I’m Anna!
It’s so great to meet you!
The Thrifty Homemaker was born a year after my first child, when my husband and I learned that we were expecting a second little miracle. We decided to take the leap of faith and give me the badge of honor, “stay at home mom”, and so I said goodbye to my colleagues and packed up my office.
With our family expanding, and our comfy income instantly snapped in half, I had to learn how to (wait for it) budget?!
However, budgeting finances wisely wasn’t the only thing I found myself responsible for. I was also in charge of being thrifty with my time, and my energy.
While my husband and I had always been mindful of our spending, losing my salary and career meant reprioritizing our family’s vision, being intentional about every dollar, and not taking for granted every day that I got to spend serving in my own home.
I’ve learned to lean into my passion for organization, cleanliness, and a desire for a peaceful, thrifty home life.
The Thrifty Homemaker is here to help you focus on organizing your budget, find systems that work for your time, and inspire you to declutter your home and life, as I have learned to do so during my transition into a full-time homemaker.
No matter your “homemaker” status, I hope you’ll stay awhile and take what is useful to you. I’d love to help you bring clarity and frugality into your home.
